We are looking for caring, responsible individuals to become defenders of youth potential by volunteering to be mentors with our organization!
This one-on-one mentoring opportunity is intended to make a substantial, positive impact on a child's life for the better, forever. **Please note: The children that we serve are typically at-risk and come from low-income and single-parent households. We ask for a minimum 12-month commitment and that you connect with your Little two to four times monthly. We have found that mentoring relationships are more beneficial to the child when their mentor is consistent, caring, and stands by their Little for over a year.
Ever wonder about becoming a Big or Big Couple? It's easier than you think to change a life: connect a couple of times a month to share life experiences and have FUN! Go swimming, take a hike, throw a football, ride bikes, go to a movie or baseball game, or challenge your Little in your favorite video game. The possibilities are endless, and once you begin, our professional program staff is always here to support you with consistent communication, coaching, and resources, and hosting fun, free activities for you and your Little can just show up and enjoy! It Takes Little to Be Big!
