Join our new non-profit in protecting dark and starry night skies in the Driftless area and beyond. We are working to educate the public about light pollution and helping communities, businesses, organizations and individuals make responsible lighting choices. We need both creative and analytical thinkers to help us to do the following:
- create both printed and digital educational resources
- develop a library of photographs and videos that can be used in dark sky education and advocacy efforts
- review and analyze research on light pollution topics including effects on vision, safety, human health, astronomy, plant, animal and insect species
- improve lighting choices at a community level through advocacy, communication, education, and technical assistance
