The La Crosse Warming Center will be opening on November 1st. Volunteers are needed to complete the Center's mission of working with the Greater La Crosse community to better serve those experiencing homelessness with dignity and respect by providing a safe and warm place for homeless adults 18 years and older to get in out of the cold during the winter months. The Center will be open from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and counts on volunteers to sign up for shifts.
All volunteers are required to attend training. A La Crosse Warming Center Volunteer Training will take place at Viterbo and is open to our students, faculty, staff and community members.
