La Crosse County Medical Reserve Corps

The Medical Reserve Corps: La Crosse County Unit mission is to provide medical and non-medical community members with opportunities to volunteer during public health and other emergencies when volunteers are needed, as well as support community preparedness and prevention efforts. MRC is a national network of local groups of volunteers committed to improving the health, safety, and resiliency of their communities. Locally we will strive to offer volunteer training and exercise opportunties to strengthen our response to unexpected events, as well as promote healthy living throughout the year.

The group was registered as a local MRC Unit in 2009 and is currently undergoing an organizational process to recruit volunteers in partnership with local public health preparedness efforts.
