We value our volunteers who help to improve the quality of life for our residents by offering their time and friendship.   We'd love to have you join us by assisting our recreation therapy staff with a variety of recreation programs such as table games, reading groups, exercise groups, socials, special meals, parties, arts and crafts, visiting, community outings and more.

History and About Us

Onalaska Care Center was established in 1974 as a community facility by a group of interested citizens who operated it for years and is now owned and operated by BSJ Corporation. 

The facility has an excellent reputation for providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative services for over 40 years.  Dedicated and professional staff are committed to giving a superior level of quality care.  Attention to individual resident needs and involving the family in the life of the resident continue to be a high priority for OCC.
