Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region is a nonprofit organization founded on the conviction that every family should have a safe, stable, and affordable place to live. Our values include a commitment to environmental sustainability, innovation, and advocacy. Founded in 1992, we have built or rehabilitated over 70 homes for our neighbors in the La Crosse region.
Volunteers play a vital role in our mission to create a community where all feel they belong. We offer volunteer opportunities at construction sites, in the ReStore, on ReClaim or RePair crews, and during special events like workshops. After submitting a brief application and reviewing our checklist with the handbook and safety videos, opportunities are updated once a week on the volunteer calendar as work fluctuates.
