Vernon Memorial Healthcare

We are nonprofit independently owned critical access rural hospital located in Viroqua, WI. Our mission is to inspire patient-centered, compassionate care in our community which aligns with our vision to be the trusted healthcare partner that delivers exceptional care to every patient. Our volunteers are a huge part of patient experience here at VMH.

We have volunteers greet patients and visitors when entering the hospital. We also have a new position of patient visitor/companion where the volunteer visits with the patient, plays games, delivers reading material or fidget items. We also have opportunities for volunteers at local events such as County fairs to help with our booth, Vernon County Night Out and Family Fun night at LaFarge clinic.
