OASIS Respite Program

OASIS Respite Program is an outreach program of Causeway Caregivers. OASIS was formed in October of 2020 to provide respite time for caregivers to focus on their own physical, mental and spiritual health while their loved one is at OASIS. OASIS is held on Thursday at First Free Church in Onalaska.

OASIS Volunteers interact with participants, engage in fun activities, creative project, brain activities while being encouraged to share their talents, laughter, stories and personality while volunteering within OASIS. Volunteers arrive a half hour prior to respite program beginning to review participants and prepare the room with all the activities offered that day. Training, orientation offered and volunteer appreciation is foremost in this fun respite program!
