Please read everything on this page first, before signing up for your project. There are important details below to help our day run smoothly.
Explore Projects and Reserve Your Spot:
Click on a Need to view details, shifts, and the transportation plan. Each project is unique, so review the descriptions and shift times carefully. Select Respond to sign up and answer the required questions for your chosen project or location. You will receive a confirmation email by Sunday, January 18, with specifics and any final updates.
Morning Welcome:
At 9 a.m. on Monday, January 19, we will host a coffee, continental breakfast, and blessing kickoff in the FSPA Lobby. Everyone is encouraged to join before heading to service projects, afternoon workshops, and the evening community celebration. Think of this as a day on, not a day off, as we come together to live out Dr. King’s values and vision for a community where everyone can thrive.
Collaboration:
Agency managers and the Community Engagement team receive an automated email once you complete a need response for a project. Each project will have a Site Leader from Viterbo, most having a host from our partner agency.
Please register as soon as possible. Projects will close as spaces/shifts fill.
Registration deadline: Friday, January 16.
Site Leaders Needed:
If you are interested in serving as a Site Leader for the project you are interested in, please indicate that in your registration notes. We encourage any Viterbo employees or experienced Service Saturdays students to consider this role.
Transportation:
If you can provide your own transportation, please note that in your registration. The final transportation plan will be shared in the confirmation email on Sunday, January 18. Some projects will involve walking, some will have transportation provided, and others will require personal transportation. Review each project carefully before signing up and watch for your final confirmation by January 15
