Description

RESCHEDULED DUE TO EXTREME COLD.  Come help us restore a former trail area and/or naturalize between campsites by assisting in spreading native seed.  This technique is called "frost" seeding and allows winter cold and snow to gradually work the native seeds into the ground and prepare the seed for germination next spring.  Exposure to winter weather is vital to successful seeding of many native species.

If you aren't free on the date/time noted below, but this experience interests you, feel free to reach out anyhow.  You might be able to participate now or in the future with seed collection and preparation for frost seeding.
