The Handyman program is designed to provide fix-it services and home repair for individuals in the community. Our volunteers donate their time and skills at no charge. Volunteers are reimbursed for their mileage and any items needed to buy for repairs. All that is required is for the individuals requesting the service be 55 or better, disabled or a veteran and to provide or pay for the materials that are needed for the repairs NOTE: Must be 55+ to volunteer and use the RSVP servcies. Volunteer: Transport Seniors to Appointments!The Coulee Region Retired Senior Volunteering Program (RSVP) is looking for individuals 55 and better to help drive older adults or adults with disabilities to their appointments, grocery shopping, etc. Drivers are reimbursed their mileage- can volunteer on a daily, weekly, or on call basis. We are in need of more volunteer drivers due to turning clients away each week. You choose the day/time you would like to volunteer. Schedule is set a week in advance. We are a door to door service and clients must be ambulatory. No wheelchairs. NOTE: Must be 55+ to volunteer with RSVP and also use our services.
