Volunteer: Catholic Charities Warming Center -Viterbo MLK Day of Service, Jan. 19, 2026Join a group of about 10-20 folks as we go to the Catholic Charities Warming Center downtown La Crosse. While all the guests will be gone, we will be able to help in a variety of ways! We will focus on deep cleaning the facility; including common spaces, sleeping areas, bathrooms, and office spaces. Please wear school gear & dress in warm layers for the short walk.Please review details on our initiative page about our day together. Our facilities are located at 3710 East Avenue South, you could be supporting any of the following Catholic Charities programs or functions: Warming Center and other Community Homeless Facilities Food Pantry Clothing Closet Saint Lawrence Community Outreach Adoption Program and Pregnancy Support Immigration Program Disability Services Representative Payee Program Administrative Services Seasonal community eventsMorning and afternoon shifts are currently available Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Shift flexibility is possible based on a volunteer’s availability.
