Northside Kids' Clothes Closet

We started as a group of six people who took over a need from the local elementary school to provide clothing for kids in need. It literally started in a closet in the church building that has now evolved into a wing of a building with rooms for clothing shoes and storage for opposite season clothing. With the assistance of donations of money and gently used clothing and grants from the Franke Foundation we are in the 5th year of supplying clothing to kids in need in our area.

The Kids' Clothes Closet provides seasonal clothing, footwear, jackets, hats, mittens and other essentials - free of charge - to families in need in the La Crosse area. We also have an event twice a year for women's clothing and are open on the same night as a free community meal and food pantry located in Trinity Lutheran church.
