Safe Kids Coulee Region

Safe Kids Coulee Region is a team of dedicated volunteers members committed to keeping kids safe in La Crosse, Trempealeau, Jackson, Monroe and Vernon Counties. Gundersen Health System is the lead agency for the Coalition and other members include local police, fire departments, health departments, hospitals, community organizations, childcare providers, parent volunteers, and safety advocates. Mission Statement: To prevent unintentional injury and death to children and youth through a coordinated program of public awareness, education, collaboration, and advocacy. Safe Kids Coulee Region is part of Safe Kids Worldwide, a global network of organizations with the mission of preventing unintentional childhood injury, the leading cause of death and disability to children ages 1 to 19.

Safe Kids Coulee Region hold safety events through out La Crosse, Monroe, Vernon, Trempealeau, and Jackson Counties. Our activities include: fundraisers, car seat round-up events, car seat check events, bike safety events, pedestrian safety events, and more!
