Nikinana Resale Store is a new nonprofit 501 (c) (3) located in downtown La Crosse and is dedicated to helping migrants and immigrants with legal fees incurred through the immigration process for those individuals with genuine reasons to settle legally in the United States.
Our business plan involves purchasing collectibles, unique items, and entire estates, as well as accepting donations of new and used furniture, books, clothing, shoes, tools, automobiles, electronics and other household and outdoor items to resell and use the profits to help pay for attorneys for immigrants to legally settle in the states.
Volunteers help by coming into the store and performing tasks such as:
- Working register
- Greeting customers
- Pricing items
- Posting on our online website
- Running store errands
- Keeping store organized and clean
- Updating store social media
